Welcome to District 3 of the Texas Nurses Association!

Texas Nurses Association, District 3 serves professional registered nurses living and working in Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervall and Tarrant Counties. As one of the most active districts in Texas Nurses Association, we participate in both local and statewide events giving voice to the nurses of the district. TNA District 3 is an excellent place to meet and network with other professional nurses in our community and keep up on the issues which affect our profession and our practice.

Nominating Committee
Membership Committee
The Membership Committee works to increase awareness of TNA -3 activities and promote TNA membership among nurses in District Three. Our goal is to increase the membership of TNA-3.
Scholarship Committee
The Scholarship Committee is responsible for distributing the scholarship applications to each of the nursing schools within our district. Once the completed applications are returned to the district, the scholarship committee is responsible for evaluating the applications to determine the most qualified candidate(s). TNA-3 currently awards one Academic Scholarship and one Monika Dewar Memorial Scholarship each year. The Scholarship Committee's main goal is to increase the number of scholarships awarded.
Great 100 Nurse Committee
The Great 100 Nurse Committee has oversight of the nomination process, selection committee, and the planning of the annual DFW Great 100 Nurse Celebration. This committee is comprised of members of TNA District 3, TNA District 4, NTONE, and NCONE. Our goal is to maintain the strong tradition and integrity for which the DFW Great 100 Nurse Celebration has become known over the past 20 years in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex.
